About Me
My School and Expertise
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Web & Social Platforms. Throughout my journey in school, I learned how to develop websites using coding languages like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP, just to name a few. This has helped me learn more about developing a website that would work for the front and back ends of the website. Not only did I learn to code, but I also designed and edited a variety of multimedia platforms such as videos, photos, and animations. One of my favorite things I learned was conducting user research and understanding the steps and skills necessary to build a powerful experience for the customer that also aligned with the business or client.
Work Experience
Over the years, I've learned so much in school and through internships, which allowed me to prone my skills into the real world and build a platform for a target audience group. With my first internship in Jax Marketing Solutions, I learned and built a different strategy on their social media and website to increase traffic flow and drive up sales. I would increase my creativity by participating in an internship for a nonprofit organization, Show and Heal. This is where I developed my design skills as a graphic designer to tell a story and spread awareness on her social media pages and redesigned the Show and Heal website by developing it on WordPress by learning more about what my supervisor was looking for and building an experience catered to her target audience. Soon began to work as a marketing specialist for a construction company called MIE. My role was finding customers and labor workers using LinkedIn and Facebook. I helped build a Facebook group from 0 members to 110 members within one month that helped them find labor workers and customers. I helped drive sales up by creating traffic flow onto their social media pages that would help them branch out and network with commercial business owners. My supervisor tasked me with building an app on Bubble for employees to see upcoming projects we would have as a company. This is where my UX experience comes in. I first devised a layout using Figma that would be responsive for all screen sizes and tested it out with other workers.
Outside of Working
Outside of working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two dogs hero and lorelai. I also love spending time with my siblings and parents as well. I love to travel and have see different parts of America like Seattle, Portland, Nashville, Las Vegas, and Puerto Rico just to name few of my favorite desitnations. I love to read comics with Nightwing being my favorite character and own almost all his graphic novels and several collectibles. I'm a big sports fanatic and enjoy watching the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins play and beating on Boston. I enjoy being outdoors and love to hike, bike ride, and workout as much as I can. This is who I am outisde of being your problem solver.
